On 7 and 8 October, 2011, we had access to some superb "worklife" input at the Global Leadership SummitThis is the 5th GLS that I have attended and once again I am blown away by the content of the talks, the worship and the organisation. I have always maintained that this is the best value for money leadership training I have ever encountered. It has been said that there is little point in attending training/conferences/seminars and summits, unless you have the intention of putting into practice what you have learned. It goes without saying that putting into practice what you have learned is desirable, but even if one neglects to do so or is in a position where little is applicable to where you find yourself, I submit that by watching these talks you will come away, inspired, encouraged, enthralled, stimulated, excited, moved and heartened. That alone is worth twice what it costs to attend.We would like to encourage the start up of small groups; within St Nicholas, meeting early morning or lunch time; within industry groupings; or within your actual workplace with Christians from other churches.
